Tap the Keg - SOLD

Updated: Jun 29

Tap the Keg is a 2021 filly by Tapiture out of a Dixie Union mare. This gorgeous, flashy girl is incredibly sweet and kind. She trailed here like a pro, stood perfectly quiet for her mane pull and bath, is great in her stall and loves kids. She is retiring from racing sound and vice free, just isn't competitive enough in next racing conditions. I followed almost all of her races not only because I love the way she looks and is bred, but also because of her adorable personality. She showed really pretty movement in the ring and could go in any direction. She has natural athletic ability and such a nice presence about. Kegs has been so great to have in the barn and adjusted to farm life very easily. Even before getting her turned out she grazes quietly, doesn’t care if other horses are going in and out and loves to play with the things I hang by her stall. Her first ride here was just as great as I thought it would be. She stood quietly at the mounting block, was very soft, and went right to work despite two little fawns that were playing and running around the ring like crazy, she didn’t care and just kept going along. (I think I was more distracted by it than her because they are so cute). Once she figured out she could stretch she was putting her nose all the way to the dirt. We haven’t had rain in a while so the ring is very hard, but we did what we could. You can ride her on the buckle or put her together, and she will walk quietly out around the farm. Kegs is extremely ammy friendly with a great brain.
